How do I add an RSVP button to an Omnisend email?

Last updated August 7, 2026

Adding an RSVP button to an Omnisend email lets your subscribers register for your event or in-store experience from your campaign or automation. Copy the RSVP link from AddEvent and insert it as a button or hyperlink.

Step-by-step

  1. In your AddEvent dashboard, create your RSVP event and go to Sharing
  2. Copy the RSVP link
  3. In Omnisend, open your email template in the drag-and-drop editor
  4. Add a Button block, set the label to "RSVP Now" or "Save My Spot", and paste the AddEvent URL as the button destination
  5. Or add a text link by highlighting text and using the hyperlink option
  6. Preview and test the link before sending

Omnisend automations for event promotion

  • Product launch events: include the RSVP button in your pre-launch automation to let customers register for a live product reveal or demo
  • VIP sale or pop-up: trigger an invitation automation to your top customer segment with the RSVP link, creating exclusivity and capturing attendance intent
  • Post-purchase event follow-up: after a purchase trigger, invite customers to a workshop or onboarding session related to what they bought

Collecting RSVP data back in Omnisend

Export the RSVP attendee list from AddEvent after your event and import it into Omnisend to create a post-event segment. Use this for follow-up emails, review requests, or next-event invitations.

For automated sync, use AddEvent's Zapier integration to push new registrations to an Omnisend contact list in real time.
