How to add an RSVP button to a MailerLite email

Last updated August 20, 2026

Adding an RSVP button to a MailerLite email lets subscribers register for your event directly from your campaign. Copy the RSVP link from AddEvent and insert it as a button or hyperlink in your MailerLite template.

Step-by-step

  1. In your AddEvent dashboard, create your RSVP event and go to Sharing
  2. Copy the RSVP link - the URL to your hosted event registration page
  3. In MailerLite, open your campaign in the drag-and-drop editor
  4. Drag a Button block into your layout, set the label to "RSVP Now" or "Register", and paste the AddEvent RSVP URL as the button link
  5. Or highlight text and click the link icon to add it as a text hyperlink
  6. Send a test email and click the link to confirm the registration page opens correctly

What happens when subscribers click

They land on your AddEvent-hosted RSVP page, fill in their details, and receive an automatic branded confirmation email with an Add to Calendar button. All registrations appear in your AddEvent attendee dashboard.

MailerLite automations

Include the RSVP link in a MailerLite automation workflow - for example, trigger an event invitation email to a specific group or segment at a set number of days before the event. Add a follow-up step for non-clickers.

Syncing registrations back to MailerLite

Use the AddEvent + Zapier integration (available on Small Business plans and above) to push new RSVP registrations to a MailerLite group or add a field automatically when someone registers. For one-off exports, download your attendee list from AddEvent as CSV and import it into MailerLite.
