How do I add an RSVP button to a Klaviyo email?

Last updated August 7, 2026

Adding an RSVP button to a Klaviyo email lets recipients register for your event directly from their inbox. Copy the RSVP link from AddEvent and insert it as a button or hyperlink in your Klaviyo template.

Step-by-step

  1. In your AddEvent dashboard, create an RSVP event and go to Sharing
  2. Copy the RSVP link - this is the URL to your hosted event registration page
  3. In Klaviyo, open your email template in the drag-and-drop editor
  4. Drag a Button block into your layout, set the label to "RSVP Now" or "Register", and paste the AddEvent RSVP URL as the button link
  5. Alternatively, highlight text and use the link icon to add it as a text hyperlink
  6. Send a preview to confirm the link opens the registration page correctly

What happens when someone clicks

Recipients land on your AddEvent-hosted RSVP page, fill in their details, and receive an automatic confirmation email with an Add to Calendar button. Their registration is captured in your AddEvent dashboard.

Klaviyo flows

Include the RSVP link in Klaviyo automated flows - for example, a pre-event announcement flow or a segment-targeted invite to customers who match your event audience. Place the RSVP button prominently above the fold.

Collecting RSVP data back in Klaviyo

After your event, export the attendee list from AddEvent as CSV and import it into Klaviyo as a list or segment for post-event follow-up campaigns. For automated sync, use the AddEvent + Zapier integration to push new RSVPs directly into a Klaviyo list.
