How do I add an RSVP button to a Constant Contact email?
Adding an RSVP button to a Constant Contact email lets your subscribers register for your event directly from your campaign. Copy the RSVP link from AddEvent and insert it as a button or link in your template.
Step-by-step
- In your AddEvent dashboard, create your RSVP event and go to Sharing
- Copy the RSVP link
- In Constant Contact, open your email in the drag-and-drop editor
- Drag a Button block into your layout, set the label to "RSVP Now" or "Register", and paste the AddEvent URL
- Or select text and use the link icon to add a text hyperlink
- Preview or send a test to confirm the registration page opens correctly
What happens when recipients click
They land on your AddEvent-hosted RSVP page, fill out the form, and receive an automatic confirmation email with an Add to Calendar button. Their registration is recorded in your AddEvent attendee dashboard.
Resend to non-openers
Use Constant Contact's resend feature to re-send the invitation (with the RSVP button) to contacts who did not open the first email - giving them a second chance to register without creating a new campaign.
After the event
Export your RSVP attendee list from AddEvent and import it back into Constant Contact to create a post-event segment for follow-up emails, thank-you notes, or future event invitations.
