Adding an RSVP button to an ActiveCampaign email lets recipients register for your event directly from your campaign or automation email.

Step-by-step

1. In your AddEvent dashboard, create your RSVP event and go to Sharing
2. Copy the RSVP link (the URL to your hosted registration page)
3. In ActiveCampaign, open your campaign or automation email in the drag-and-drop editor
4. Drag a Button block into your email, set the label to "RSVP" or "Register Now", and paste the AddEvent RSVP URL
5. Or highlight text and click the link icon to add it as a text hyperlink
6. Test by sending a preview email and clicking the link

What happens when someone clicks

Recipients land on your AddEvent-hosted RSVP page, complete the registration form, and receive an automatic branded confirmation email with an Add to Calendar button. All responses are tracked in your AddEvent dashboard.

Using ActiveCampaign automations

Include the RSVP link in an automation triggered by a tag, segment membership, or date. For example: trigger an event invitation 14 days before the event date for contacts tagged as "webinar-prospect". Follow up with non-RSVPers in a second branch of the automation.

Syncing RSVP data to ActiveCampaign

Use the AddEvent + Zapier integration (available on Small Business plans and above) to automatically add new RSVP registrants to an ActiveCampaign list or apply a tag when someone registers. This lets you trigger post-registration automations in ActiveCampaign based on RSVP activity.
