How to integrate an RSVP tool with calendar apps
Integrating your RSVP tool with calendar apps means that after someone registers for your event, they can add it to their Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or Yahoo in one click - and receive automatic device reminders.
The native way: AddEvent
AddEvent's RSVP tool has calendar integration built in. Every AddEvent RSVP event automatically:
- Sends a confirmation email with an Add to Calendar button the moment someone registers
- Lets the attendee choose their preferred calendar app from the confirmation page
- Adds the event to their personal calendar with all the details - title, date, time, location, description, and organizer
Integrating other RSVP tools with calendar apps
If you are using a different RSVP tool (Google Forms, Eventbrite, Luma, etc.), you can add calendar integration by including an AddEvent Add to Calendar link in your post-registration messaging:
- Create the corresponding event in AddEvent
- Copy the Add to Calendar link from AddEvent's Sharing tab
- Include it in your RSVP tool's confirmation email or post-registration page
For subscription-based events (recurring series)
If you run a recurring event series - weekly webinars, monthly workshops, ongoing fitness classes - use an AddEvent subscription calendar instead of individual RSVP Add to Calendar links. Attendees subscribe once and all future sessions sync automatically to their calendar app.
Via Zapier (no-code automation)
Connect your RSVP tool to AddEvent via Zapier. When someone registers via Google Forms, Typeform, or another form tool, a Zapier workflow creates the corresponding event in AddEvent and triggers the Add to Calendar confirmation. Available on Small Business plans and above.
