How do I add an Add to Calendar link to HubSpot emails?

Last updated July 1, 2026

Adding an Add to Calendar link or button to HubSpot emails is a copy-and-paste process - no integration setup required.

For Add to Calendar links in HubSpot email campaigns

1. Create your event in AddEvent and open the Sharing options
  2. Copy the Add to Calendar link for the calendar platform you want to target (or copy the universal link that lets recipients choose their app)
  3. In your HubSpot email editor, select the text or button you want to link
  4. Paste the AddEvent URL as the hyperlink destination
  5. Send a test email to verify the link works correctly

For an Add to Calendar button image in HubSpot

AddEvent provides pre-styled button images (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, etc.) alongside plain links. Download the button image and upload it to HubSpot's file manager, then link the image to the corresponding AddEvent URL.

For RSVP links in HubSpot

Same process - copy your AddEvent RSVP event landing page URL and add it as a link or button in your HubSpot email template. Recipients click through to your hosted RSVP page.

For personalized Add to Calendar links (unique event per contact)

If each HubSpot contact has a different event date or time, use AddEvent's Dynamic Add to Calendar links with HubSpot personalization tokens. Build the AddEvent dynamic URL structure and use HubSpot's {{ contact.property }} merge tags to populate the date, time, and description fields for each recipient. This requires the AddEvent Enterprise plan.

Connecting AddEvent and HubSpot via Zapier

The AddEvent + Zapier integration connects to HubSpot's CRM - for example, automatically adding an RSVP attendee to a HubSpot contact list when they register via AddEvent. Available on Small Business and above.
