Welcome to AddEvent 2.0, where setting up, sharing, and managing your events just got a whole lot easier. Whether you’re here to promote webinars, launch new products, organize internal meetings, or power your entire event calendar, we’ve got all the tools you may need to help you make sure your audience never misses a moment.

Let’s walk through the newly released AddEvent 2.0 and show you around. 

Get Your First Event on the Calendar

Chances are, you’ve come to AddEvent because you’re looking for one of the easiest ways to create and share your events, so now it’s time to put it to use.

Once you’ve signed up or signed in to your AddEvent account, you’ll immediately hit the dashboard. Now that you’re here, there are tons of things you could do, but let’s start by getting an event on your calendar.

There are two ways to create an event: you can either click the Create button in the top righthand corner of the dashboard, or you can click the date on the calendar that your event is taking place and quickly create a new event. 

Once you click into the Event Creation page, you can specify if it’s going to be an RSVP event, event series, recurring event, or just a one-off event. This is also where you’ll add information like date, time, location, etc. 

Hit Save event when you’re done, and you’ll automatically get taken to the Event Details page with all of your sharing options!

Make It Look Like Your Brand

No one wants their events to feel like a cookie-cutter template, or something totally unrelated to the brand they’ve worked hard to establish. With our no-code Design Templates, you can create branded event and calendar landing pages as well as embeddable calendars that look polished, professional, and match your style exactly.

Start Collecting RSVPs (and Real Insights)

If you have an event where you need to collect RSVPs, AddEvent 2.0’s RSVP tools make it easy. 

When you create your first event, you’ll need to toggle on the Turn on RSVP over on the right-hand side of the page to enable RSVP collection. When you do this, you’ll see a new tab open up for RSVP settings

Here you can set the RSVP form, seat limits, and more. 

To create a new RSVP form, head over to the RSVP Form tab on the left-hand sidebar. Here you’ll be able to customize the form with your own questions, customize automated attendee email notifications (with a no-code email editor tool), and more. 

Share Your Event or Calendar with the World

Once your event or calendar page looks exactly how you want it, it’s time to share it far and wide. AddEvent 2.0 gives you multiple ways to get your audience to your landing page, whether you’re sending a personal invite or promoting a major campaign.

Here are a few easy ways to spread the word:

1. Share the URL anywhere.

Every event and calendar comes with its own unique landing page link. Copy and paste it into your social posts, SMS messages, newsletters, or anywhere else you reach your audience. It’s the simplest way to make sure anyone can access your event details instantly.

2. Use Add to Calendar buttons.

Add customizable Add to Calendar buttons on your event landing page, confirmation page, or anywhere else your attendees might engage. These buttons let users quickly save your event to their preferred calendar (Google, Outlook, Apple, and more) with just one click.

3. Include Add to Calendar links in your emails.

Want to make sure your email recipients don’t forget your event? Add personalized Add to Calendar links right inside your marketing or confirmation emails. They’re easy to generate in AddEvent and fully customizable to match your brand.

4. Embed your event or calendar on your website.

Use AddEvent’s Embeddable Calendar and Event Widgets to feature your events directly on your website or landing pages. They’re fully responsive and can be styled with your design templates to blend seamlessly into your brand’s look and feel.
