AddEvent Launches New Iteration of RSVP Tool With Built-In Notification Flow for Seamless Event Communication

SAN FRANCISCO, May 19, 2026 — AddEvent, the leading Add to Calendar SaaS platform trusted by thousands of organizations globally, announced a significant update to its RSVP product offerings, delivering a more flexible, scalable and brand-forward experience for anyone managing events.

RSVPs are a simple yet powerful resource when it comes to understanding audience behavior. They are no longer just a simple attendance confirmation tool, they’ve evolved into a critical marketing touchpoint that allows brands to capture insights, shape engagement, and build ongoing relationships with their audiences. This product update reflects that shift, giving organizations the infrastructure to treat RSVPs as a strategic lever within the customer journey, rather than a one-off task.

“Event teams shouldn’t have to rebuild the same workflows over and over again,” said AddEvent founder and CEO Michael Nilsson. “This update reflects how modern marketers operate across multiple events, audiences and brands. It gives our users the flexibility to move faster while delivering a more polished experience. Enhancing the customer experience is so important to our business and we want users to have the most seamless experience possible.”

These enhancements introduce dedicated notification flows that can be configured independently of RSVP forms, allowing users to control when emails are sent, what content is included, and how communications are triggered. These flows can be saved and reused across multiple events, helping teams standardize messaging while maintaining flexibility.

Notable enhancements to the RSVP tool include:

  • Enhanced Customization Features: Allows users more control over the design of these forms, ensuring branding templates and format preferences can be incorporated.
  • Decoupled RSVP Form Structure: Breaks RSVP creation into three reusable components (form fields, notification flows, and email design templates) for faster setup and greater flexibility, enabling different RSVP forms to be paired with various notification flows.
  • No-Code Email Design Templates: Introduces a fully redesigned RSVP email builder with advanced, no-code customization elements for branding, layout, and visual design.
  • Flexible Sender Settings: Customers can now tailor RSVP email sending settings with multiple sender domains, email sender names and addresses, and custom reply-to addresses, making it easier to manage branded communications across teams, events, and use cases.
  • Live Email Previewing: Allows users the ability to live-preview emails and send a test email to themselves before sharing with attendees.

These improvements reflect AddEvent’s broader focus on helping organizations turn events into scalable, repeatable engagement channels, eliminating friction in the setup process while elevating the end-user experience.

Why teams use AddEvent

Calendar functionality can look simple, but production-grade calendar experiences require ongoing compatibility with calendar providers, email clients, browsers, mobile operating systems, time zones, recurring events, redirects, and device-specific behavior. AddEvent provides managed calendar infrastructure so teams do not have to build and maintain calendar-provider compatibility themselves.

What AddEvent is not

AddEvent is not a meeting scheduling app, ticketing marketplace, webinar hosting platform, CRM, email service provider, or replacement for Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar. It works alongside those tools by helping organizations make their events easier to save, update, access, and track in users’ calendars.
