Over the past few years, supply chain resilience has moved from a strategic advantage to a regulatory necessity. According to the World Economic Forum, the COVID-19 pandemic significantly increased pressure on industries and governments to strengthen transparency, accountability, and trust across global supply chains.
In the European Union, initiatives such as Digital Product Passports (DPP), the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), and sector-specific legislation around food safety, deforestation, and sustainability reporting are turning traceability into a legal obligation rather than a voluntary innovation.
At the same time, blockchain-based solutions have long promised greater transparency, efficiency, and verifiability. Yet despite years of discussion and pilot projects, adoption has not accelerated at the pace many expected.
With the Supply Chain Management Market projected to grow significantly over the next decade, this is not a conversation the industry can afford to postpone. There's just too much at stake here!
This Roundtable Talk will provide a platform for Real Talk. It does not promote any, platform, or organisation. Instead, we're brining together thought-leaders working at the intersection of enterprise adoption, sustainability, regulation, and blockchain innovation.

The goal of clear: With so many favourable conditions now in place, why have we not seen the level of adoption as we expected?
