CEC uniquely blends contemporary RnB styles and singer-songwriter craft while writing in both English and Spanish. The Treaty One-based artist and producer is heavily influenced by the work of 70s soul artists such as Al Green and Curtis Mayfield, and contemporary artists such as Lianne La Havas, Gotts Street Park, and Matt Corby. CEC’s music is distinguishable by its slow groove, intimate lyrics, and soaring vocal layers.

They have been selected for National Accelerators such as First Up with RBCxMusic (2022) and Music Publishers Canada’s Women In The Studio (2025). CEC has spent time living in Canada, the US, and Spain, and operates The Clubhouse, a Winnipeg studio focused on removing barriers for queer and gender expansive artists, producers, and engineers.
