About Junior Achievement:
Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South empowers children to be world ready and engaged members of their communities so that they may lead independent lives. We serve a 25- county area across Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi, reaching 20,000 K-12 students each year. Our programs are delivered in partnership with community volunteers who deliver our lessons and share their experiences. In the process, these volunteers serve as role models, helping to positively impact young people’s perceptions about the importance of education and critical life skills. Our proven lessons help promote financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
