How Robin Wall Kimmerer's newest initiative, Plant Baby Plant, is seeding a movement of reciprocal restoration: as we heal the land, we heal ourselves. Join Brian Ratcliffe, Executive Director of Plant Baby Plant on Thursday, November 19 from 2:30 - 4:00pm on Zoom for a 1.5 hour session.
Join Plant Baby Plant Executive Director, Brian Ratcliffe, for a timely conversation that expands on founder Robin Wall Kimmerer’s (award-winning author of Braiding Sweetgrass and The Serviceberry) Indigenous teachings that “all flourishing is mutual.” Learn about Plant Baby Plant -- a growing grassroots movement that brings people together to heal land, build community, and grow power. With a call to "Raise a Garden and Raise a Ruckus", Plant Baby Plant offers resources and a community where people are invited to find their gifts and give them to the Earth.
About Brian Ratcliffe:
Brian Ratcliffe is a climate optimist, a dad, and a former graduate student of Robin’s at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Brian comes to Plant Baby Plant with years of experience in climate adaptation and program management from the federal government (USDA Forest Service, U.S. Department of Energy). A child of the Rocky Mountains, Brian is an east coast transplant and lives in Pennsylvania with his family.
