Collaboration and co-creation are often celebrated as pathways to shared power, inclusion, and innovation. Yet, beneath the language of partnership, there can be a hidden imbalance: one party holding the ultimate decision making power while calling it collective decision-making. In this Circle, we will explore all sides of collaboration—when it works and when good intentions mask the reality that power ultimately resides with those who hold the resources or the final say.

Together, we’ll reflect on the subtle dynamics of authority, the risks of confusion and misalignment, and when the whole truly does become more than the sum of its parts.
