Tuesday, September 30, 7:00pm - 8:00pm (EDT)
Collaboration and co-creation are often celebrated as pathways to shared power, inclusion, and innovation. Yet, beneath the language of partnership, there can be a hidden imbalance: one party holding the ultimate decision making power while calling it collective decision-making. In this Circle, we will explore the shadow side of collaboration—when good intentions mask the reality that power ultimately resides with those who hold the resources or the final say.
Together, we’ll reflect on the subtle dynamics of authority, the risks of confusion and misalignment, and what it takes to engage in practices of co-creation that are truly accountable and transparent.
What Is Circle Lab?
Circle Lab is a space to pause, reflect, and connect with peers who are navigating the complexities of creating impact in their organizations and communities. Each month, we’ll explore a thought-provoking question related to leadership, collaboration, and change.
At Open Circle, we’ve always believed in the power of community to drive meaningful change.
