Overview: The purpose of this final session is to introduce members of the global entrepreneurial community to key players and concepts of the Responsible Tech movement in New York City, and to provide networking opportunities between New York-based entrepreneurs and global entrepreneurs with an interest in responsible/green tech. This session will include a plenary portion, focusing on challenges and opportunities in the field of Responsible tech, demos presented by IVLP alumni participants, and break-out discussions on key topics.

9:15 am - 9:30 am | Break-out Discussions
Attendees will join one of several rooms with designated topics. Each break-out discussion will be facilitated by a New York-based entrepreneur/innovator. Example topics may include:

• The move towards the pursuit of purpose as well as profit (i.e., the importance of a focus on organizational culture)
• Managing to mitigate algorithm and data bias
• Which emerging technologies pose the greatest challenge for balancing positive outcomes with negative unintended consequences (e.g., Facial recognition, brain machine interfaces, etc.)
• Building a Better Internet – what business models will emerge to supplant current social media advertising?
• Getting to Green – which technologies and business models represent the greatest potential?
Each room will designate someone to take notes and report back to the main session.

Attendees reconvene in main session for reports from each breakout room and a conversation about key take-aways
