Panel Discussion: Certifications & Standards for Embedded Devices

Friday, October 16, 11:30am - 12:30pm (EDT)

Certification has always been an important part of the electronics industry. It implies adherence to certain standards, design practices and/or specifications. With connected devices and expanding threat vectors to security, certification plays a key role in helping OEMs deliver more secure products to their customers, establish customer confidence as well as trust and protect IP. PSA Certified is a multi-level certification which was co-founded by Arm and other security leaders, providing three levels of security assurance. This allows developers to implement security features from the ground up and with the appropriate level of security for the given application. This panel will explore the various aspects of PSA Certified, the impetus to its creation and how developers can use it to convince customers that their products have been designed with security in mind.
