MSF Scientific Days – Asia 2023 is a conference to showcase research, innovation, and experiences from treatment and humanitarian programmes across the region. MSF Scientific Days bring together researchers, practitioners, academics, and patient representatives to catalyse improvements in the quality of care provided to patients and populations at risk. The experts in the humanitarian global health will come together to discuss and challenge research from within the sector.
Since 2015, MSF Scientific Days has been providing a platform to a range of experts working in the humanitarian and academic fields to showcase their research and innovation work to enhance and exchange knowledge about the trends and challenges in innovation and healthcare. This year, we are collaborating with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) to organise the event in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 9th October 2023. BSMMU is a premier Postgraduate Medical Institution in Bangladesh and bears the heritage of the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Research (IPGMR), established in December 1965. Besides education, the university plays a vital role in promoting research activities in various disciplines of medicine both within Bangladesh and internationally. Since its inception, the university has also been delivering general and specialised clinical services as a tertiary-level healthcare center.
