Catalyst is evolving, and so is the way the community reviews and decides on proposals.
In Fund 14, the new Representative Pilot platforms subject-matter experts from the Cardano community to provide structured recommendations on the Cardano Forum. These insights are designed to support voters—without replacing community choice—and will inform how this feature is rolled out in future funds.
By showcasing and comparing these methods and outputs, the discussion will demonstrate how evaluations can move beyond popularity-driven voting and toward systematic, expertise-based decision-making.
From a governance perspective, this Roundtable represents an opportunity to elevate community-built expertise while encouraging DReps to adopt processes that prioritize fairness and quality over influence.
This session is a follow-up to our earlier Roundtable, but this time it is scheduled for the Eastern Hemisphere community, giving them the chance to join the live discussion and share their perspectives.
Goals of this session:
Learn from subject-matter experts about the frameworks and outputs they’ve developed for reviewing funding proposals
Compare different approaches and their strengths
Explore how structured evaluations and curated selections can guide DRep practices
Set expectations for more informed decision-making in Fund 15 and beyond
