"Eyes in the sky: The biology of vision in birds" by Prof. Freya Mowat, BVSc, PhD, DECVO, DACVO, MRCVS
After the talks: meet a Great Horned Owl, Peregrine Falcon, and Broadwinged Hawk from Hoo’s Woods Raptor Center, take a guided walk through the Arboretum with an expert birder, and learn about local rehabilitation efforts from Wings Raptor Center!
A light breakfast will be available starting at 9:45 am. All ages are welcome to attend this free event. RSVP appreciated, but not required. Due to the presence of live birds, we ask that you kindly leave any pets or service animals at home.
