Heart Garden – Honouring National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Location: Marshall McLuhan Hall, 2nd Floor, UMSU University Centre
The Heart Garden, hosted by the Office of the Vice-President (Indigenous), has been the centerpiece of UM’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation since 2023. This year’s program opens with prayer and includes a Survivor speaker and a learning session with the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR). Visitors are invited to reflect, share messages at the Heart Booth, and access resources to continue meaningful action beyond NDTR.
