#AmericanEnergyDeal Day of Action

It's time to turn up the heat and put pressure on Congress to pass the reconciliation bill, which contains a number of policies that will invest in the clean energy economy and boost domestic manufacturing. On July 12, the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) is hosting a national day of action for solar industry members, clean energy advocates, environmental partners, and lawmakers to rally behind an #AmericanEnergyDeal. 

Congress is so close to passing bold federal policies that will help us transform the clean energy economy and we need your help to get them across the finish line. Every voice matters, and we need you to step up and join SEIA in taking action.

To participate:

1. Call your member of Congress! We need as many lawmakers to hear from solar companies and industry members about how important this bill is to your livelihood. Phone calls are the best way to directly connect with the staff at your representative's office and is the next best thing to showing up in person. 

2. Get loud on social media and make sure all of your posts use #AmericanEnergyDeal on all social media platforms. We're trying to concentrate social posts at 1:00PM ET to have the largest impact possible. Below are a few draft social media posts you can schedule in advance or use on the day of action.
