As doulas we hold space for women, and this means holding space for the whole woman and everything that is going on for her. This often brings up lots of different things, so it would be great if we could confidently refer women to relevant services in the area.
We want to build up a great network of trusted birth workers, and organisations who support women outside of pregnancy and birth, in Greater Manchester, so that we can all support each other and be able to point women to services that will support her. If you would like to be a part of this network, come along to this circle.
We would love to connect with anyone providing services specifically for women in Greater Manchester, and beyond. If you work with women in the context of: - pregnancy and birth - the postpartum period - abortion - loss - menopause - family court - mental health - fleeing abuse and/or assault - legal advice/support - financial advice - housing - employment - crisis - chronic illness - exiting the sex trade - anything else that affects women
