Business models such as repair, reuse & rental have been booming and are leading in the pursuit to achieve the fashion industry’s lucrative USD 700 billion opportunity. Such an increase could provide a third of the emission reductions necessary to put the fashion industry on a 1.5 degree pathway. However, these models do not automatically realise these environmental benefits unless clothes and supply networks are designed in the correct way.
