We provides medical care in some of the world’s most challenging environments — from conflict zones like Gaza to humanitarian crises in Sudan. In addition to the humanitarian challenges in these contexts, staff is also facing the more global challenge of health care associated infections. Hand hygiene is critical in controlling these infections, however lack of resources often means hygiene standards are difficult to reach
In these low-resource and high-pressure healthcare settings, what technical and human-centered solutions can help ensure proper hand hygiene and reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections?"

"How can technology help protect migrants from exploitation and human trafficking?" - Challange, presented by Signe Haugen, Project Leader for 'Future Housing', The Salvation Army:
"How can we achieve a more equal rental market, which also provides opportunities for drug addicts? " Overall, we at The Salvation Army experience that vulnerable groups struggle to obtain decent housing in the big cities. The most exposed and vulnerable are drug addicts who struggle to get a real chance to get a safe home. There is a rental market and an attitude among landlords that goes like “Not in my backyard”, which means that the target group often has to settle for undignified and poor housing that in the long run creates more challenges for the individual. It also provides a lot of leeway for cynical landlords, who make money off people in vulnerable situations. We see that our target group has no chance compete at a viewing, even with a secure financial guarantee from NAV(social financial office in Norway). We see countless examples of this every day, where the reason is stigmatizing things such as appearance, social skills, behavior, etc. This is where we see the lack of an equal rental market. Could we successfully prevent a rental market from standing and falling at a viewing, where it is all about selling yourself? To prevent this, we see ourselves having to think differently and try to see other possibilities. Can we do something to contribute to change, without falling back on traditional and market-driven solutions? So, our problem is: -How can we achieve a more equal rental market, which also provides opportunities for drug addicts?
By answering this, we will get societal benefits in the areas of economy, health, social challenges and, not least, less experience of stigma and exclusion for an already vulnerable group.
