An in-depth presentation of the risk analysis done by The Ember Alliance, which covers District-wide critical infrastructure and community level fire mitigation risk reduction measures to be taken.

At the Community Meeting you’ll learn what is covered in the CWPP, including:

Identification of evacuation routes which are currently non-survivable in the event of wildfire, and what can be done to make them safe.
Community-wide fuels mitigation needed to protect homes, entire neighborhoods, and our volunteer firefighters.
Things you can do in your Home Ignition Zone (HIZ) to give your home a fighting chance to survive a wildfire.
What to expect after the fire in flooding and sediment delivery from burn scars.

The District is divided into 15 separate communities (Plan Units), which have been evaluated in the new CWPP using scientific fire behavior modeling and risk analysis. The CWPP outlines step-by-step, prioritized fire mitigation recommendations for each community.
We know how much it is to ask you to give up an evening after a long day of work and school. Feel free to come a bit early. We will have some healthy snacks (and cookies, of course) in case you haven't had dinner yet. If RSVPs exceed the 125 seat capacity of the CCCIA Hall, a Zoom link will be sent out to attend virtually.
