Community Intensive: Intro to Shakespeare Techniques

Have you always been interested in Shakespeare? Are you curious about where to even start when it comes to the Bard? This is the workshop for you! In this introductory-level, one-day intensive, students will explore the world, language, and structure of William Shakespeare's works. They will dive deep into the language, meter, and structure of his plays and apply their knowledge to Shakespearean monologues.

David Minton (he/him) is a director, actor, producer, instructor, and playwright who has worked in Dallas, New York, and Washington DC, and has over 40 years of professional experience. He directed MARRIAGE WARS for Live Arts' 2021 Locally Sourced local playwrights showcase, appeared in THE CHILDREN, and was recently seen in LOVE AND INFORMATION by Caryl Churchill.
