Sinai 123rd Annual Community Meeting (1/30/2025 10:30am)

Sinai's 123rd Annual Community Meeting will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025. We welcome all to respond below to let us know if you can join us. Our speakers will begin at 10:30am and lunch will be presented at noon.

It has become our tradition each January to open the doors and invite the community in to see inside the inner workings of our nonprofit Jewish funeral home. Our goal at these meetings is to show absolute transparency about how we conduct business and stick to our mission at all times. Our special focus this year, will be a panel of Mourner Care experts speaking from their Sinai experiences, as to how we can best support our mourners. We will also hear from leaders as to why it is important to understand the work of our local Jewish funeral home and cemetery organizations. 

All food served will be kosher.If you miss the meeting all together, we will stream it live here so you can watch at a time that works for you. The MUNI bus lines with stops nearest to 1501 Divisadero are the 38 Geary and 24 Divisadero. Sinai has four parking spaces in the white zone in front of our building, available on a first-come basis, but these spots fill up quickly. Otherwise, street parking in the neighborhood is limited. The most affordable parking option tends to be the Medical Center Garage at 1635 Divisadero Street (corner of Divisadero and Post).
