At the Threshold of Shadow and Dawn
Earthkeepers Corn Moon Gathering — Full Moon in 6 Aq’ab’al (Trecena of Tijax) Step with us to the doorway between night and morning. Guided by
Aq’ab’al (threshold, dawn-from-dark) and
Tijax (the obsidian blade that makes the
precious cut), we’ll befriend our shadows, name old patterns, and ceremonially release what no longer serves—so new light can take root.
What we’ll do (75–90 min): - Opening grounding & song • Teaching on 6 Aq’ab’al + Tijax
- Guided shadow-journey (honoring Xib’alb’a with care and consent)
- “Precious Cutting” release ritual & water blessing
- Corn Moon gratitude + collective prayer for Earth
Bring: - Working Candle + lighter • Small bowl of water (optional to make moon water)• A kernel of corn (or tortilla/cornmeal)
- A black stone/obsidian (or dark pebble) • journal + pen
- Optional: small mirror, flower, corn (corn moon), or item for your altar
- White sheet of paper
- Charcoal stick (not a number 2 pencil)
