ʔəm̓i ce:p xʷiwəl Come Toward the Fire Festival

Join us for the fifth annual ʔəm̓i ce:p xʷiwəl (Come Toward the Fire) festival on Sept. 18, 19 & 20, 2026 at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts. Presented in partnership with Musqueam, this 3-day Indigenous event celebrates culture, creativity and community and features Indigenous artists from Musqueam and Indigenous nations across Turtle Island (North America).

We welcome everyone to visit and experience Indigenous music, film, food, dance, storytellers, authors, workshops, performances, and more! Come and support Indigenous artists and artisans in the Vendors and Artisans Market and our Indigenous Food Vendors.

Learn about Indigenous histories and cultures at our FREE Day of Knowledge Sharing 12:30-4:30pm on Friday, September 18, experience a full FREE festival day of indoor and outdoor stages 12-6pm on Saturday, September 19, and join us for our closing Indigenous vendor market and finale concert in the Chan Shun Concert Hall, hosted by actor and comedian Dallas Goldtooth, with market starting at 4pm on Sunday, September 20.
