Hope Bereavement Care would like to invite you to contribute to a commemorative quilt, remembering our loved ones who have gone too soon. The quilt will also commemorate 40 years of community, care and support here at Hope. Creating quilts has so often been a communal project bringing together communities in a shared experience. For those grieving and remembering, the act of slow stitching, crafting, talking, laughing and crying together can be a beautiful supportive and holding experience. Our theme is The Heart of Grief and we hope you can join us for a gentle two hours of slow stitching, with fellow grievers, a cuppa and a biscuit. Bring along any pieces of fabric or embellishments you might like to use. The size of the square is 6x6 inch. We will have everything you need to create your square. However if you have something personal you would like to include in your quilt square, please bring it along on the day.If you would like to contribute to the quilt but are unable to come along to the workshops you are welcome to make one from home and send it in or deliver it to us. The only requirement is that the square is 6x6 inches and is heart themed in some way. Please post or drop off to 200 Myers Street Geelong by October 31st 2025
