The
OSU ASPIRE Center,
UO Smoke Center,
Smokewise Ashland, and the
Oregon Health Authority are bringing together state and local agencies, community-based organizations, and education & childcare professionals to enhance wildfire smoke preparedness in Oregon schools (pre-K-12) and childcare centers.
Goals:- To strengthen the coordination and collaboration between practitioners and agencies for wildfire smoke preparedness and response for schools and childcare centers in Oregon.
- To identify best practices and decision-making resources that these organizations need to develop a smoke plan that protects the children in their care.
Together, we can plan a healthier future for Oregon's children!
