  • The “Add to Calendar” button does not work in e-mails due to security reasons.

Simply create an event and copy / paste the link into your e-mail newsletter or share it on Facebook, Twitter etc. Your event is accessible on an event page, eg. https://addevent.com/?db52444 or as a direct download eg. https://addevent.com/?db52444+outlook.

  • Compatibility

  • A lot of users have reported that it is not possible to use AddEvent (or any other calendar provider) with Google Chrome on an iOS device.

After a lot of research it seems that Apple has disabled all extensions on iOS devices when you use Chrome as a browser. Using their native browser (Safari) works just fine.
It's the never ending war between Apple and Google.
