About the Role

You are an ace front-end developer who is also a UI/UX nerd with strong past experience in designing and building out front-end software. You communicate clearly, have a knack for working collaboratively with a remote startup team, and work to build valuable software solutions and design incredible experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm, design and build new features and products
  • Improve website UX/UI and maintain all aspects of our client-facing applications
  • Test and optimize sites for desktop, mobile, cross-browser compatibility and SEO
  • Design viral user experiences – beautiful, intuitive and valuable – for all products
  • Strategize and manage timelines and task management for site launches and updates

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (required) and PHP and MySQL (bonus)
  • Comfortable coding without frameworks (jQuery and vanilla JS is what we use)
  • An ace in user experience and user interface design
  • Able to show past projects and discuss the process used in designing & building them
  • Discipline: exceptional time management and organizational skills that enable you to consistently meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at once
  • Attitude: self-motivated, proactive, positive, dedicated work ethic
