RSVP Button and Links for RSVP Events

This help doc explains how to use the RSVP button method of sharing your event. An RSVP button is a great way to share an event in your email newsletters and campaigns, or on your website or landing page. AddEvent’s RSVP button works perfectly with most email marketing tools, website and landing page builders, as well as with custom-built websites.

End user experience

When an end-user clicks an RSVP button, they are sent to the RSVP landing page so the user’s information can be collected as they register for the event before adding it to their calendar. The user must enter the information you require and select whether they are “Going”, “Interested” or “Can’t go” before registering for the event. Once the user has registered for the event, they are shown an add-to-calendar button which allows them to add the event to their calendar.

From your Event page:

  1. Scroll down to RSVP Button section
  2. Choose from the eight styles provided and copy the text in the box by clicking Copy in the top right corner.

RSVP button for emails

  1. Paste this code you copied from the event page into your email.

Your attendees will be able to click on the RSVP button and head to the landing page!

RSVP buttons for websites

  1. Paste this code into your website where you want the RSVP button to be.

Using a website or landing page builder?
