Culture on Campus

Culture on Campus celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through immersive experiences, alongside Australian native flavours, flora and fauna.   

What to expect?   We’ll start the event with a Welcome to Country by Tarnda.   

You can then participate in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural experiences such as a Ngarrindjeri language and weaving workshop, and jewellery making hosted by Tarnda.  There will also be a performance by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artist Katie Aspel - a proud Ngarrindjeri and Gunditjmara singer-songwriter.   

Then get ready to try a huge lineup of Australian native flavours*:

• Davidson Plum Chocolate (GF, DF, Vegan)
• Australian Native Bush Dukkha (GF, Vegan)

Animals Anonymous will be joining us, bringing a lineup of Australian wildlife for you to cuddle and learn about.  

Then let your creativity spark with flower bouquet making.   

This event is free for all Adelaide University students, just show your student ID upon entry to receive your stamp card.
