Wednesday, June 3, 10:00am - 2:00pm (EDT)
Join Project Play: Southeast Michigan on Wednesday, June 3 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Farmington Family YMCA for a sports-sampling coach training.
Specialization in sports is at an all-time high, making it more important than ever for young athletes to experience a variety of activities.
Aligning with the Project Play 8 Plays framework to encourage sports sampling, this training will explore best practices in hosting one-day or ongoing programs, equipping you with the tools to provide an engaging and well-rounded experience for youth.
Attendees will be introduced to non-traditional sports including field hockey and archery. Guests can also expect to leave with new ideas, strategies to implement your own sports sampling programs and equipment to get you started.
Lunch will be provided. To reserve your spot, RSVP by June 1.
