Dementia Through Their Eyes

schedule

Thursday, May 14, 5:30pm - 7:00pm (CDT)

Seeing the World From the Perspective of Those Living With Dementia
People living with dementia aren’t trying to give you a hard time — they’re having a hard time. Understanding the difference between normal and not-normal aging helps us see how changes in brain function impact care and support. Through the Positive Physical Approach, care partners can build stronger relationships and create more positive interactions. With the right support, people living with dementia can continue to lead lives filled with meaning, value, and purpose.
