Our food systems thrive on nature and the services it provides, but the ways we currently grow, process and consume food are destabilizing our planet. Food systems are the biggest drivers of biodiversity loss and major contributors to climate change but they also have the potential to be part of the solution.
By acting with urgency to transform our food systems at scale, we can tackle the triple challenge of reversing biodiversity loss and land degradation, limiting climate change and feeding the world while respecting planetary boundaries. In this session we discuss the ambitious and urgent actions needed to deliver food systems which are equitable, net-zero emissions and nature positive.
