Meet the host..

Flavia V. McCaughey is the Vice President of the FR Investment Group. Ms. McCaughey earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and a Minor in History from Boston University in 2020. Having always been interested in business and finance, she began as an administrative assistant at the firm in 2015. She became a managing director after two years before working her way up to Vice President. She holds a Series 7 and 66 securities registrations through LPL Financial. Ms. McCaughey is registered to service clients in CT, MA, NY, RI, and VT. In addition she holds a life insurance license and health insurance license in MA and CT, as well as, the AHIP Medicare Certification and Long Term Care Certification.

In her time at the FR Investment Group, she co-created the internship program in 2017, which she managed. In addition, she served a crucial role in the Alden Credit Union partnership. She has been instrumental in the firm’s new program “Empower,” which promotes financial literacy in inner cities. Under Ms. McCaughey’s leadership, “Empower” will facilitate education and conversations on the best financial options for each individual, empowering individuals to make informed financial decisions

Ms. McCaughey is diligent in her work at the FR Investment Group, always striving to find new ways to improve the firm. Her pithy observations on business have been coined “Flavisms” by her staff, who admire her insightfulness. 

Ms. McCaughey is an active member of the Union Club of Boston. She enjoys playing golf at GreatHorse Country Club, as well as traveling and spending time with her family. 
Originally from Sturbridge, Mrs. McCaughey now lives in East Longmeadow with her mother and stepfather, Flavia and Peter Cote, her brother Kyle, two Samoyeds Jasper and Bella, and her beloved Boston Terrier, Bailey.
