From Twitter to Supreme Courts, there have been many arguments posed by crypto enthusiasts, investors, developers and lawyers alike. The popular catchphrase ‘Code is Law’ has been adopted by Bitcoiners and developers across the crypto industry, with many lawyers, government agencies, lawmakers and judges either totally confused at the sentiment, or understanding enough to break down the nuances of how the two worlds coincide.

Crypto lawyers disseminate information and research, dispelling or expanding on some of the uncertainty surrounding how blockchain and code can work with the law to build a more modernised, decentralised and improved monetary network, regulatory framework, and overall legal system.

Developers argue finality, distributed ledgers, privacy, freedom, and the road to creating a fairer, more robust, and updated regulatory framework and legal system, through the use of Bitcoin, blockchain technology, and smart contracts. This is what the builders of these networks stand for, utilising software to fix and in some cases counter what is deemed as a broken system.
