Skilled Serve — Saturday Serve Day
Saturday, November 7, 9:00am - 1:00pm (EST)
Saturday Serve Day — the morning we put hands and tools on a place that needs care. Refreshing community spaces, mending what's broken, and dreaming about what could come next.
🕗 How the morning runs
- 8:00am — breakfast and coffee on us
- 8:30am — teams head out to their projects
- By lunch — we wrap up and head to the Block Party in the Northwoods and Love Communities
🔨 What we'll be doing
Plans evolve month to month as we partner with organizations and families in need. Specific projects firm up closer to the date, and this event gets updated as they do — so if you've followed the calendar, the details land on your phone without you doing anything.
🧤 What to bring
- Closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind ruining
- Work gloves if you have them — we'll have spares if you don't
- A water bottle
- No skills required. Genuinely. There is always something for every pair of hands
One Saturday, four ways to serve. Skilled Serve, Car Guys, and Mow Sow & Grow all run the same morning, and the Block Party follows in the afternoon. Pick the one that fits you — or follow all of them and choose closer to the date.
