Join GBC’s Veteran Resource Group for our Third Annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon honoring those who have served, and those who continue to serve, in our Armed Forces. This special event will take place on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the GBC Event Center.
Enjoy a complimentary meal as we come together in gratitude and remembrance. The program will begin with the Presentation of Colors by the Delaware Military Academy Color Guard, followed by a rousing performance from the GBC Jazz Band, including the National Anthem.
We are honored to welcome Lieutenant Colonel Brian F. Nicholas, United States Air Force, as our distinguished speaker. Brian currently serves as the commander of Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 128 hosted at the University of Delaware. He directs a college-level Air and Space Force officer training program as the Chairman of the Aerospace Studies Department and is a Professor of National Security Studies.
President Colleen Perry Keith will offer a warm welcome and introduce attending dignitaries, underscoring GBC’s ongoing commitment to the military community.
This event is free and open to all GBC students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members. RSVPs are requested by November 7.
