Skills 101: KACE | Windows Feature Updates in KACE SMA 15.1

Keeping Windows devices on a supported feature release should not feel like a side project. With the new KACE SMA 15.1release, Windows Feature Updates are back.
In this Skills 101 session, we’ll walk through how to move devices to Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 using the KACE SMA patching workflow you already know.
We’ll cover:

• How Windows Feature Updates work in KACE SMA, including adding 24H2 and 25H2 releases to your catalog.
• Building a rollout strategy with scheduling, device labels, pilot rings, reboots, and maintenance windows.
• Readiness checks, including supported OS versions, disk space, TPM, Windows 11 hardware requirements, and update prerequisites.
• Troubleshooting common issues using patch status, detection results, setup logs, rollback errors, and KACE Agent logs.

You’ll leave with a practical understanding of how to plan, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows Feature Updates through KACE SMA.
