Governance Hour #13 | Deep Dive Into PFMS: Bringing Government Scale Adoption to Cardano by Trivolve Tech

Livestream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-KVZ1v6AOw

How can Cardano support public-sector infrastructure at scale, and what would it take to make that work in practice?

In this edition of Governance Hour, Nicolas Cerny, Cardano Foundation Governance Lead, sits down with Rahul Konudula, Founder of Trivolve Tech, to take a closer look at the Police Force Management System (PFMS) proposal.

The proposal requests ₳9.6 million from the Cardano Treasury to develop and deploy an open-source system that records cryptographic fingerprints and timestamps of evidence on Cardano, while keeping sensitive evidence and personal data off-chain. The initial deployment is planned for Telangana, India.

The discussion will explore the proposed implementation, projected network activity, funding milestones, independent oversight, and the challenges of deploying and sustaining a system of this scale within government institutions.

The aim is to look at both the opportunity and the practical questions that come with it, including what blockchain can verify, how the project's claims will be measured, and how accountability will be maintained throughout delivery.

Join the conversation and take a closer look at what this proposal could mean for Cardano.
