Join Project Play: Southeast Michigan for the 2026 Beyond the Game: Coach Development Workshop!

Whether you're a seasoned coach or stepping onto the field for the first time, this workshop will provide you with powerful tools to strengthen your leadership, build meaningful relationships and coach with greater empathy. Coaches will explore how to foster a sports culture rooted in mentorship, healing and growth. Together, we will explore how to foster a sports culture rooted in mentorship, empathy and growth. This workshop features an incredible lineup of partners and facilitators, including:

Positive Coaching Alliance – National leaders in transformational coaching
U.S. Soccer Foundation – Experts in creating positive connections with youth

Participants will have the choice of choosing to attend one workshop date that best accommodates their schedule. The workshop will be split into two sessions, morning and afternoon, and will include trainings from Positive Coaching Alliance and the U.S. Soccer Foundation. Attendees can choose to attend the morning or afternoon session.

Morning Session Schedule: 9:00 a.m.-12:25 p.m.
Afternoon Session Schedule: 1-4:30 p.m.
