“This book is all about creating joy in building and leveraging relationships, in support of a thriving team, board, and nonprofit organization surrounded by long term active supporters. It is specifically about the stakeholder engagement that gets the leader there. It reflects my general approach to life, to coaching and to fund development: which is, strengths - based and positively oriented.

The concepts in the book apply to coaching a leader in any industry, but the book is focused on nonprofit leaders. Leaders need to use their strengths to identify their stakeholders, communicate with them in a way that engages them in the impact and future of the organization, and then move them ever closer to the center of the organization.

The book is a step–by-step guide to a process meant to help leaders think clearly about their intentions, and through action, realize a positive vision for their organization”.
