Girls in Sports - Title IX Celebration & Sports Sampling Clinic
Saturday, June 21, 9:00am - 2:00pm (CDT)
Project Play of Southeast Michigan, in collaboration with various sports and youth development organizations, welcomes girls from across the region to the UWM Sports Complex for a day filled with sports sampling, exciting giveaways, and fun activities.
Join us on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the United Wholesale Mortgage Sports Complex (867 S Blvd E, Pontiac, MI 48341) for a fun-filled Sports Sampling Clinic just for girls! Participants will explore sports like volleyball, basketball, tennis, soccer, flag football, field hockey, yoga, cheer and more.
This event encourages exploration, connection, and confidence-building. Whether she’s new to sports or experienced, players will have the chance to meet girls from across Southeast Michigan and learn about the fundamentals of classic sports and games.
Girls who attend will receive snacks, lunch, and a participant t-shirt.
