21st International Nursing Ethics Conference and
6th International Care Ethics Conference
Abstract: This year’s conference will engage the ethical issues encountered by nurses, doctors and other caregivers in health and social care during the Covid-19 pandemic. It will focus on ethical responses to care challenges such as: negotiating caring relationships with patients, care home residents and families under pandemic conditions; managing scarce resources (for example, staff, personal protective equipment, ventilators and hospital beds); and supporting caregiver well-being in response to moral distress and moral injury.
Abstracts are invited here, and may include proposals of non-Covid-19 topics relating to ethics education, practice and research as below.
Organized by the Academy of Nursing, University of Exeter, in collaboration with the international Editorial Board of the Journal Nursing Ethics
