QPR stands for question, persuade, and refer – three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year, thousands of Americans like you are saying "yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, family member, or neighbor.
This session is open to all any University of Arizona employee or student to learn how to recognize suicidal behavior in co-workers, family, and friends and to ask important questions.
QPR Gatekeeper Training is brought to the University of Arizona by Life & Work Connections and Campus Health. Learn more about QPR from the QPR Institute.
