Meet the host.. Dr. Dixie Brown, is a PhD level Therapist, Integrative Medicine Practitioner, and Nutritionist with 15 years experience working in the Mental Health field specifically with trauma, eating disorders, and substance use. She is Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Clinical Supervisor, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Supervisor and holds certification (and is a supervisor) through the Center for Mind Body Medicine in Washington, DC to provide Mind Body Medicine Skills Groups to support trauma healing internationally. Furthermore, Dixie has also completed certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition, Biofeedback, and Wellness Coaching.
Dixie is founder of Lotus Healing, a consulting, education, and wellness firm that supports those seeking to build integrative treatment models and treatment teams globally, as well as developing wellness programs for organizations and supporting already existing mental health programs and private sector businesses by offering consulting, training, and supervision.
